Safari First-Ruaha

We never tire of going on safari. Sometimes, we get to see a particular animal for the first time, like this crocodile.

Many times we see animals in different environments, like seeing this male lion up close. He is not "roaring" at us. Actually, he is yawning. He had just eaten, so he wasn't interested in us "for lunch". The picture is cropped a bit, but we were actually only about 10 feet from him when this was taken.

Another first and sometimes rare is a photo of a giraffe drinking. They are usually pretty shy and don't want to be in a vulnerable position.

Regardless of the number of times we are on safari, we are never ceased to be amazed at these amazing animals.
